The tropical characteristics continue on the palate, anchored by good structure and a long smooth finish. A Vietnamese curry with chicken and coconut milk is a good match for this Pinot Gris: the wine’s mineral qualities balance the richness of the coconut milk, its slight residual sugar holds up to spicy chiles, and its aromatics play off the curry’s spices.
