The 2010 growing season was one of the coolest on record. We were fortunate to have heat in late September, to help ripen the grapes, enhancing the delicate flavors and complex textures in the wine. Aged for five months in French oak barrels and puncheons, this Chardonnay offers delicate aromas of honeysuckle, key lime, guava, and mineral, while the palate comes through with lemon-lime curd, satsuma oranges, baking spices, and a long Meyer lemon cream finish.
